July-Week one challenge

Well I'm all behind on my challenges this month, July has flown by so fast. I've manage the week one challenge and the house challenge and plan to catch up on the others tomorrow after I've cleaned the flat from top to bottom before someone comes to view it.
I enjoyed doing this layout, it features the entertainment team from Beverly park where we went on holiday. I have to say, I've never seen entertainment like it. It was DREADFUL! From a 60 year old bloke stripping to his boxers to a couple of girls looking like 80's rejects spitting water at each other
. The holiday was fab but the entertainment had a lot to be desired! On one night the entertainment team for the sister park put on a great show, we will stay there the next time we go!
What made me laugh most was the fact they have been there for years, hasn't anyone else ever complained? we were talking to other guests and nobody could believe how terrible it was. Anyway, here is the layout.....

June Week 5

A great weekly challenge this week set by The Pink Glitter Gals.
The challenge was

Scrap the preparation or aftermath of a celebration - 10pts
Include pink - 5pts
Use minimal journaling, let your photos tell the story and use at least four photos - 5pts
Use one of the two sketches provided - 10 pts

I didn't have the photos to do the preparation or aftermath bit but it will make me think about taking a new style of photo in future.
My title is cut on the Robo doing the dreaded print and cut and I'm pleased with how it turned out
.
I just loved the choice of sketches but after having a bash at one with circles I settled on the second of the two choices which was this on, borrowed with permission from Prima Marketing.

OUCH!

I made this layout using pics Tara took on holiday. Wayne managed to convince me to go on one of those games in the arcade where it electrocutes you ( it's vibrations really) and you see how long you can hold on for. I was really nervous of it at first but we both laughed our heads off when it started.
I was a little out of my comfort zone with this layout, I used vellum and I've not really used it before, I like the look of muted tones coming through it and used stazon ink to do the journaling.
