This is my attempt at the Week 1 challenge over at UKS . The Stitching took forever but I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I used a paper piercing pattern from Fred She Said and used DMC lights to stitch the design. The page looks kind of orange in the photo but it is actually all pink. I used a couple of postage stamps from a collection I picked up in a charity shop a while back and the tickets are some I've had laying about for ages.

Great work!! I think I'll have to get a needle and thread out for my next LO too!! It's such a great way of adding texture and I don't think I use it enough.
